Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!  Ours was pretty quiet.. hubby had to work so we didnt really do anything.  We never do anything for it actually.. lol 

Our sons birthday was on the 3rd of July, so we had fun in the morning playing with him, and that afternoon we gave him his big present.. a new Spiderman bike!  He was excited about it at first, but once he realised its not that easy to ride, he has kinda lost interest.  Im hoping that once he starts his OT and PT at pre-k he will find it a bit easier to ride.  On the Saturday we went to the local zoo, was the first time we had been so it was fun.  Aidyn was a lil disappointed though that there was no giraffes!  lol  Then afterwards we had a few people back here for cake and icecream.  We got Aidyn a CARS movie cake, so he was happy!  lol  That night i was feeling pretty sick, after having to sit in the car with my brother in law smoking cigarettes (yes i have asked him not to, he is just inconsiderate that way) so i ended up going to bed early and didnt get up till 10am the next morning!  I cant remember the last time i slept that late! 

Aidyn had his 4 year old check up last week, the doc is pretty happy with him.. he weighs 30 kilos and is 118 cms tall!  Aidyn i mean, not the doctor.. lol  But he had to have 4 shots, all at once.. i really dont like that they do that.  But he was pretty good about it, only had a lil cry and then that was that.  He keeps saying.. I’m 4, I’m a big boy now!  lol

So does anyone read Charlaine Harris?  I am crazy for her books at the moment, especially the Sookie Stackhouse vamp series.  It will be a TV series on HBO, starting September.  I am kinda nervous about who they have cast as Sookie, its not how i pictured her, but i will watch it anyway.  I actually ordered HBO just so i could!  lol

Speaking of TV, Big Brother starts tonight!  yay!

My son was approved for his services, I am so happy!

My baby will be starting school in September! 

I cannot believe its almost June already!  Where has the year gone??   Our lil bugalug will be 4 in 2 months!  Seems like only yesterday I was pregnant with him!  lol

Did anyone watch the season finale of NCIS last night?  OMG!!  Isnt that the best show ever?   Apart from LOST of course.. lol  Which will have its finale also next week.. feels like it only came back on the air a few weeks ago..

Hope everyone had a great Mothers Day!  Ours was fairly quiet, rang my Mum back home then hung out with my son and hubby for the day.

I got a cool new cell phone for Mums Day, i just think hubby was tired of me always borrowing his!  lol

to all who have commented and emailed me about my post below!  I am feeling alot better.

My son had his evaluation with the local school last week, went great.  They are recommending he go into the Pre-k program they have, plus have extra occupational therapy and physical therapy.  He really needs to work on his fine and gross motor skills.  So they will send the recommendations onto the school district and we just have to wait and see if they approve it.  If they do, then he will be in school starting September!
